Every year our Jr & Sr high students have an amazing opportunity to travel to Haiti and help serve this country that is in desperate need of help. At "Momentum" we place a great value on the biblical purpose of evangelism. In Acts 1:8 Jesus calls all followers of His to be involved not only in local missions but cross culture missions. That is why I am so excited to be able to offer this trip each year to our students.

Words can not describe how I have watched this trip impact the lives of our students and our leaders. Every year we go to serve the Haitians, and each year they teach us something in return. Whether it's learning to trust in God more, learning contentment, or just learning the power that the church has when they are united around prayer to accomplish God's purposes. It is a valuable learning experience that will no doubt teach all who go values that will be remembered better than any sermon.

Understand that the "North West Haiti Christian Mission" that hosts our group would never let us go if they felt in any way we would be in danger. However, due to the nature of the trip we require that each student commit to our extensive training which will cover every thing from support raising, acquiring a passport, purpose for going, team building exercises, culture differences, how and what to pack and much more. Parents are also welcome to join us, and would make it a great trip for the family.

Payment arrangements can be made throughout the year. Email Mike Russell if you would like to set up a payment plan. One last thing- We hold an annual youth banquet/auction that helps off set the cost of this trip. Students who are going are required to go be a part of this fundraiser and others to receive financial assistance. Last year we paid 50% of each student's cost, just from the banquet alone. In addition to the fundraisers we plan, we teach how to raise support during our training sessions. We have never had a student not go because of funding. We will work with each student who wants to serve in Haiti to help them reach their financial goal. For more info on Haiti and the "Northwest Haiti Christian Mission you can go to www.nwhcm.org
