Beginning on Easter Sunday, we invite YOU to join us as we embark upon this 30-Day Challenge to discover the purposeful, joyful, abundant life God created us to enjoy! Stop by the display table in the lobby to sign up for one of the small groups that will be meeting for four weeks of this study, April 11-May 2.

On Friday, May 14, CACC will host Life Line Screening. Life Line Screening is the leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings in the US, and has partnered with over 370 hospitals across the country and screened over 5 million participants. Why? Because the ultrasound screenings that they offer can help save your life! You may think your physician would order these screenings if they were necessary, however, insurance companies typically will not pay for screenings unless a person has suffered symptoms. Unfortunately, for so many people, the first sign of a stroke is a stroke. That is why having a Life Line screening is so important to keep you and your loved ones healthy and independent.
- Stroke/Carotid Artery Screening – screens for buildup of fatty plaque – the leading cause of strokes.
- Heart Rhythm Screening – painless 6 lead EKG that can detect an irregular heart rhythm.
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening – Ultrasound used to screen for the presence of an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta the could lead to a ruptured aortic artery.
- Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening – Evaluates for plaque buildup in the lower extremities.
- Osteoporosis Screening – Ultrasound measurement of the heel bone to determine abnormal bone mass density.
